Fully-Integrated Life:
is devout
(Titus 1:8)
We continue to apply these qualities to our lifestyles because we want to influence others to know Jesus (see archives). There are certain qualities that turn people away and others that demonstrate that our relationship is real. It is not an act
but, it does show!
As a servant-leader, we have an awareness of the presence of God. We serve others because we want to serve Him! So, the servant-leader is described as devout.
DEVOUT
A dictionary/thesaurus search for devout is interesting. The findings include:

DEVOUT
The word in the original language is not the most common Greek word meaning holy but it is closely related and has the same general meaning. John MacArthur says: It was used to refer to that which was true to divine direction and purpose, to genuine obedience to Gods will.
The servant-leader seeks to live with the awareness that God is the audience. He is seeking to practice:
Whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. (Col 3:17)
Father,
Let me live with a keen sense of Your presence. Let my words and my deeds demonstrate that I know You are there!
Deliver me from being religious and self-righteous.
Transform me into the relationship of a sensitive child, knowing that You are holding my hand and watching my steps.
I want to live all of my life
unto You!
In Jesus Name, I pray and live
Amen!
